Articles on: Co-ownership

What happens if Novlr decides to discontinue or shut down the platform in the future?

Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen. Firstly, to be very clear, being a co-owner of Novlr in the manner we’re doing it puts no liability, responsibility, or any other burden on you as a co-owner. That’s why we’ll be using a coop or trust structure.

Obviously, we’d only be shutting down Novlr if there was no viable way to keep it going, and we’d explore all options with you, our co-owners, if that were to happen. So, exactly what happens, I don’t know yet, but one of the reasons we’re doing this is to ensure that if that were to happen, it happens in the best possible way for our writers.
